FAQ

What is the registration fee?

Thanks to our sponsors, there is no registration fee for this event. However, participants will be responsible to travel and accommodation.

Is there a recommended place to stay during the competition?

Yes. We’ve negotiated a block of rooms with Days Inn Bellevue (.6 miles from the PRCCDC site this year and closest inn/hotel to the event–http://www.daysinnbellevue.com/index2.html

  • $79.95/day (with tax $91.14/day) 2 queen-size beds/room (up to 4 people/room) non-smoking
  • $69.95/day (with tax $80.16) 1 queen-size bed/room (up to 2 people/room) non-smoking
  • Free Continental breakfast–checked it out–nice–fruit, juice, hot/cold cereals, rolls, bagels, muffins
  • McDonald’s is right next door if you want eggs/bacon
  • Lil John’s within walking distance–they give 15% off coupons
  • Parking
  • Wi-fi in the rooms
  • Direct TV
  • Frig in each room
  • Complementary Room for the driver of each group

    • The area is nice, safe, business park nearby.

    How can teams prepare for the competition?

    The PRRCCDC Yahoo group will list workshops and provide some materials.

    Will winners of this regional competition compete in the nationals?

    Yes. Travel and lodging expenses will be paid.

    Our school would like to participate. By when do we need to confirm participation?
